After my last post, I thought about buying a new bike realistically and came to the realisation that I should probably get the house sorted before dropping that sort of cash.
So...
I bought a new set of wheels instead. Hunt Trail Wides. The user guide for them says not to use old tyres on them as they might be stretched.
The tyres I want to move across to them are a fairly new (few months old) pair of DHF/DHR. Is the warning in the user guide just to cover them if something did go wrong or am I underestimating how dangerous this is and need to buy new tyres (again...).
TIA!
What a strange idea. I’d stick the tyres on and not give it another thought.
Thanks! I had a feeling that it was probably just to cover themselves (or sell more tyres). Will chuck them on the new wheels.
