Its time for new wheel. I upgraded my wheels to crank brothers cobalts against all advice from the net, i went for there good looks and bling ness(mid life crisis) now my free hub failed on the London to Brighton yesterday, i want a wheel set that is bomb proof as im 110k and the crank brothers flexed a lotany advice of what to get ,thanks .

Maybe a warranty issue?
I m no expert but all my wheels are Hope hubs and never had an issue.If you're a big guy maybe handbuilt is the best way to go.

Hope hoops or if you're flush Crossmax ST's, both are good..

Similar weight to yourself, I run Hope Hoops with Flows and they're very good.

Just stripped the Cobalt hubs down and the Pawls were gunked up and not releasing (no springs either) so ive cleaned it up re greased ,im gonna try get some springs and give them another go ?now i've stripped them once -i got my mechanic mojo ?
