I'm looking for some new tyres for the 29er. I go out in pretty much any condition (but being based in scotland usually means wet/muddy).
I have my eye on either Halo Choirmaster or Continental Mountain King 29x2.4
Anyone share experience with either of these, or offer other options?
Steve
heavy draggy and poo and the MK's are more like a 2.2
maxxis do good 29er rubber, bonty 29-3 and 29-4 are tops, nobby nic 29ers are fab but expensive
Usually wet/muddy?
Well Bonty Mud X of course. Surprisingly good in all conditions.
Not really an all-mountain / DH tyre of course, but that's life.
Im liking my Nobby Nics at the moment
Nobbly nic 2.35 will fit the bill.
Good size to stop you sinking and increase foot print, beefy nobs and in stock.
Sourcing 29er rubber is tough this season, but have a few nobly nics left.
Running race kings on the Fargo demo bike. Not a tyre for you or your mud. they are actually pretty fast on tarmac !!!
