Not the one on itv4 but probably another channel will do a similar programe, so what do we as cyclist want to see .

Safe cycling tips for cities and rural cycling,

Expalnation of different types of cycling and bikes for Newbies or the slightly confused,

A film on the interaction between cyclists and other road users, bus, lgv, and taxi drivers, along with white van man.

Visits to trail centres, and sustrans routes,

Mystery shopper at bike shops,

A day in the life of a bike shop and an internet retailer,

Riders videos,

any more ideas,

mystery shopper idea is fine if it focuses on the positive imo.
needs to be presented by someone who knows a bit about what they are talking about and are enthusiastic.
needs to cater for all disciplines.
good to have cycling legends on, but needs some brief explanation on why they are regarded as legends.
example, are any london based bmxers gonna know who obree is?
are people who have only been mountain biking for 3 years and ride a carrera gonna care who gary fisher is?
dont think we need washed up exF1 drivers on a show like that either.
just my opinion, ymmv of course.
EDIT: mr smith has it.

i want to see people on bikes• smashing it, with or without cock-rock soundtrack.
all that other guff makes for tedious tv.

•all kinds of bikes, skinny of fat tyres, small or big wheels.

Some demonstration of the different kinds of bikes and why they've evolved into what they have.

this, in as much as capturing the spirit and joy of riding a bike, rather than becoming dull and technical. I can nerd-talk bike stuff with the best of em but I dont want to watch someone doing it.

Safe cycling tips for cities and rural cycling,

A film on the interaction between cyclists and other road users, bus, lgv, and taxi drivers, along with white van man.

As a cyclist I absolutely dont want to see either of these, but they may appeal or be useful to the more casual viewer.

A section of singletrack, a stock retail bike and a times board. Bit like the 1:04 or whatever its called Dirt [?] have.

enthusiast (not pro) mtber, DHers, Roadies, taking part in events helmet came and mic as they do it talking about the experience - a la Warners track rides for the world cup.

Aimed at every man, not just bling carbon nonsense but affordable bikes viewer could afford.

Doesn't have to be aimed at noobies on a knowledge level either, in this age if someone doesn't know what something is they can look it up. Shouldn't be obscure, but they don't need to explain eeverything

Safety stuff is fine, but in a straight forward way - with a demonstration, shots from driver point of view to demonstrate blind spot etc.

I'd like the Downhill World Cup/Championship etc shown on TV again instead of having to stream it.
