I've just finished the winter build of my Pace 129.

I’ve not seen any of these around, has anyone else got one? if yes, what’s your build?

The Alfine hub and rigid forks should be ideal for the bad weather.

What do you think?

looks good 🙂

Red pedals are a bit frantic for my taste though...

Lovely. Really want a cream one with the 1-piece stem/bar.

The frame is far nice than it looks in pictures, it's a proper work of art with loads of little details.

The red pedals won't be on for long, i just needed to get it ready for riding tomorrow.

If I was to get a new MTB, which I am thinking about, being road only for 18months or so, I'd get something like that. 29er and rigid, perfect!

That looks lovely! Is that a medium? How tall are you please... Trying to find a steel 29er to run singlespeed. The Pace might be the one...

Thanks, mine is a size large. I'm 6' and it fits well with a 70mm stem.

If you're anywhere near Norfolk you're welcome to have a go on it.

That looks so so sweet and love the pedals too! That's one of the nicest bikes I've seen on here for a long time too. Very very nice and very very green eyes here too 😀

Thanks & Argh! I am 6' too! Used to live in Cottenham (near Cambridge) but sadly (for test ride purposes) I am now much nearer the Quantocks...

It looks beautifully proportioned for a large

PS - nice stealth work on the wheels - what are you running please?

I'm curious about how much the full bike weighs, have you had it on any scales?

It certainly seems a great bad weather bike.

Not sure what it weighs as yet, ill get it into the shop tomorrow.

The forks are DT Swiss XRR470, super light full carbon ones.
