Do what you do, but I'm quite looking forward to riding it 😉

Cheers.

Looks lovely that, Martin. Maybe a black stem?

I was thinking it needs a silver seatpost. 😀

Otherwise. Lovely.

Change the stem for something slammed and long and you've got a nice ride there 😀

Enjoy that, it's quite lovely.

Kent Eriksen seat post would look grand.

Looks smart; definitely bargain. Needs a Fizik bar and stem and some different cranks though.

Do you mind me asking how much it cost you? All in, including re-pointing wall, stain for fence, new gravel and time spent weeding.

the wall is beautifully pointed and there is not a weed in sight

Sterling effort

Silver finishing kit will clash with the frame, the colours are close but slightly different which looks awkward. I would go for a black stem rather than a silver seatpost.

I debated about putting the Middleburn's on with a Ti square taper BB, but it would only be marginally lighter & a whole lot less stiff, but aesthetically...

Looks like a nice ride!

If you go silver, I reckon you need to go all in - bars, post, cranks, rims, hubs... brakes? skinwall tyres, cream/buff/white(will dirty to cream/buff) saddle and grips.

Or just change the stem to a black one. Keep the silver headset and seatpost collsr, though. Black would interrupt the fork/frame.

Can you get Ti headsets? Chris King?

Pegasus are lovely, would only benefit from being able to get a wider tyre in the back

Do they crack? When I was looking I never found anything about them cracking? I'm sure it will be fine 😆

TBH I'd be more worried about the Blacksheep fork...

Is that frame Jase's old one?

I was this >.< close to buying that, bu no one wanted my el-mariachi as what I thought was a bargain price and I couldn't justify 2 SS's however nice it is.

Do they crack?

Around the BB/downtube weld. They're welded in a argon filled chamber, which is theoretically great for achieving zero contamination, but presumably lead to ergonomic issues and less than perfect welds.

I was banking on it being a good one as it's 2nd hand and if it was going to fail would already have gone.
