They are mingers!

Or am I a CC snob. 🤔😁
And they’re heavy, and they aren’t that much cheaper than the competition.
TBF though, if you like Kingdoms ‘look’, you’ll probably like these.
Hmmm…
There’s much cheaper options on AliExpress.
True and tbf there is no such thing as bad press. 😉
They are mighty helpful on doing a deal when I ordered a stem and bar from them mind.
Though not super helpful on shedding light of the way their kit is produced or clear on specs of butted or not so :/
Plus my last gripe is their lack of warranty on Ti parts.
Was about to say, they look ok if you want something different. Then I saw the price!! That's a gas bill not a set of cranks money.
The guy that imports Kingdom into the UK was trying to flog these for £850 on the Hamsterley Facebook page.
He stopped replying when I said a set of Middleburns were £190 and weighed the same.
I quite like the looks tbh but I'm reasonably sure tehy're heavier than my ancient XTRs, despite being spiderless.
a set of Middleburns were £190 and weighed the same.
Yep cant see why anyone would apart from a Ti addict
No thanks, personally I wouldn’t trust the welds.
Seem like a hard sell against the universally lauded eewings for similar money, or indeed the proven and pretty middleburns for a fraction of the cost.
I remember using Profile BMX cranks, had a couple of sets and they were never 100% straight - you could feel one pedal making a slight wave motion as you pedalled. You got used to it then came back to them after riding Shimanos and it felt odd. Welded Ti cranks just make me think of that.
The look is erm...🤔 Interesting
Love my eewings, these however are definitely not for me. Both sets of my eewings were significantly cheaper too. £750 for the new fat bike ones and if you can be bothered to read through https://singletrackmag.com/forum/topic/eewings-stainless-steel-crank-bolt/ to find out the 2nd hand bargain price.
Love the look of the kingdom full sus with the 3d printed frame parts though.
These however are "chefs kiss"

CC ewings look crap too.
No thanks, personally I wouldn’t trust the welds.
The benefits of X-ray vision eh? 😵💫
When you see what they can do with the 3D printing of titanium for aircraft parts - flight certified so subject to rigorous testing and certification - these look distinctly ‘shed ware’.
Those welds look gopping - looks like someone dragged a milling bit across a polished crank....
reeksy

Pretty sure EEWings are cheaper too
Pretty sure EEWings are cheaper too
Not at RRP.
If I had more money I might be TBH!
@poah - just aswell you cannot afford to neither.
Plus they are something else in the flesh.
Superceded my expectations so far.
I genuinely thought that the big jiffy (heavier than standard jiffys) and box contained zilch product.
The initial SRAM / Autodesk cranks were, interesting....

Lol touched much

Can't be doing with RRP, I only deal in prices I vaguely remember from last time I was adding stuff I don't need to a basket.
You're right though, they are 32 euro more. Worth the extra to lost the cut n' shut look
I like the Autodesk ones, not pretty, but they are pure function
hmmm. I don't mind the look but they do seem a tad steep. Mind you, i'm pretty sure the cook brothers cranks i lusted after back in the day were a similar multiple of my weekly wage!
I peaked with my middleburn rs1's. Stupidly sold them for a song.
but they are pure function
Only if you function somewhere without mud 😉
I don't see them being that much of a mud issue, something like the RaceFace Turbine has lots of places to store mud also, but in reality it doesn't happen much

Has anyone else noticed how Hambini's vid describing how shite Kingdoms bb threads were and that was removed a while ago?
Peculiar goings on...
Plus yes I had a Kingdom frame once that suffered dreaded piss poor bb threads.
Yeah, those cranks in the OP are minging^gop.
Plus yes I had a Kingdom frame once that suffered dreaded piss poor bb threads.
I've had 2 Kingdom frames and suffered BB thread issues with both. I didn't realize this was a common thing! I assume it was somehow my fault. Both frames and bike boxes were also filled with sand from the shot blast finish. Paid a very good price for both though.
Lovely riding bikes though and never had any long term issues. Enjoyed putting the miles in.
