I currently have a pair of Shimano M087 shoes that for a couple of reasons could do with replacing.
Current pair are in a wide fitting.
Ideally looking for a stiffer sole and a shoe again in a wide fitment.
Any suggestions/Recomendations?

I use Specialized shoes and have a wide foot.
They have a stiff sole and never had any issues with them being tight.

Giro's new Privateer HV looks like it will be killer. Have the original Privateers and the new ones fix my only complaint: overly hard (and somewhat treacherous) tread rubber. If they kept everything else as good, those will be a solid choice.
