Cheap Beto. They make pumps for other companies too like RSP, I think Halfords own brand, so you can sometimes find them cheaper than under the Beto brand but they're all good.

Just take note of the end shape, sometimes they are too wide to access dropper posts. Happy with Rockshox branded here.

Shame you can't get it repaired.

I have a Topeak one with a handy little extra valve type thing to stop you loosing air when you disconnect it from the shock. Great bit of kit.

I’ve just ordered a lifeline digital one as I dropped my Lezyne analogue one and broke it and thought I’d give the digital one a go (it looks identical to the Fox version at £80)

I've owned the Topeak Pocket Shock DXG one for about 8 years now. it has been absolutely bomb-proof.

My rockshox one has been excellent, previous fox ones utter garbage gauges, first one totally failed then the second one only worked for rear shocks, the pump itself still worked though.

If it doesn't have this it's not really a shock pump tbh.

Worth noting that the only difference between these and the RS/Fox branded ones is the chuck. It’s a lot shorter on the Lifeline and can be more fiddly. I haven’t had any real issues using it but there may be times where it gets in the way. Howver….. if it came down to it you can upgrade the hose and it’ll still be cheaper than a Fox/RS one iirc

I bought one of these: https://www.merlincycles.com/beto-sp-002ag-shock-pump-59832.html
to replace my Topeak Pocket Shock DXG. it's flimsy and hard work. will get up to pressure, but you'll not want to be doing it often.

the topeak was much much better. After 15+ years of use, the thread on the head had worn, and while spares are listed, they're not in stock.

the wiggle/crc lifeline looks like a beto made pump, but with a proper shock pump handle. bargain at £12 though

After pissing about with others for years I bought a Syncros one that has the two essential features I was after;
- The two stage valve thingy
- Digital gauge.

Mine was an SP1.0, but the current models seems to be this; https://www.syncros.com/gb/en/product/syncros-shock-pump-boundary-1-0sh

I'd recommend not getting the lezene digital pump.

Its fine, but reads massively low and was properly expensive.

It added nothing over the analogue Ones I had before that were half the price.

Agree with this^^

I've now got a Cane Creek digital one - consistantly reads 2psi over my ShockWiz which I can work with i.e. its consistant

do not get a Lezyne - thirded. Lovely looking thing, but they forgot that the user actually has to be able to hold it whilst using it. I gave up, and got my money back, after the second one fell apart

Isn't that for connecting it and not losing too much air? when you disconnect a shock pump the air lose is from the pump not the shock?

Do the digital ones read the pressure straight away or do they suck 20PSI out of the shock to equalise like an analogue one and read 20PSI less?

Can't see how they wouldn't to be honest.

The air springs are always pretty small so there's just no way to get a reading on pressure without changing it, except if it's always present like a shockwiz- even a small change of volume skews the results. So yep they work just the same as an analogue one.

Don’t get a topeak one. It’s often reads 20psi different from my ShockWiz and despite having the thing to stop it losing pressure when you disconnect it still loses loads of pressure. It’s next to useless

When attaching, I've taken to pre-pressurising the pump/hose to just under the expected fork/shock pressure before opening the valve, to minimise pressure loss from the suspension.

No problem with my Topeak Pocketshox, it's within 5psi of my digital gauge, it's (more importantly) consistent and doesn't lose air. They now do a digital version too.

Giyo O2-PT. £11. Teeny tiny. Can fit it in my lumbar pouch.

Bought mine two years ago, still working for forks. Says it goes upto 300psi. As to accuracy, I go by sag, not numbers.
