Looks good, I was expecting something similar to the Nuvince as that is CVT but this is entirely different.

I wonder how you would go about swapping out the chainring?

Interesting proof of concept, and a great little project for someone, but I'm going to go on record and say that's completely useless and will never catch on.

Have to admire the ingenuity of it. Bike history is full of great ideas that just never quite made it though.

Still, genuinely clever.

Hmm, yes, mud? How much torque do you think it can stand? Would it stand up to honking out of the saddle up a 25% hill?
Interesting idea, but totally useless.

Expanding chainwheels have been done quite a few times before - the trick is making them light and reliable 😉
