Both coil
Sektor 150mm
Lyrik 160mm
Rob votes Lyrik
or Pike 😉
I found the sektor coil forks I had to be too soft for my 13 stones.
How about the Marzocchi 55 RC3 I've been trying to get rid of for a while now? 😛 Get rid of makes it sound bad, it's actually a nice fork I just don't have the bike for it any more. Feels better than the Domain I had.
+1 for lyrik !!
or pike..
I have a Sektor, factor in the cost of the stiffer spring when considering it, the standard one is far too soft. Happy with it now its been swopped over but was disappointed at first.

Same here. Great forks now, the same internals pretty much as Rev's but cheaper
Lyrik's If I'd have had the cash to buy new ones though
Not being so bothered about weight myself, (my big bike has 2.8kg of 66 on it!) and having rode both forks, I would say Lyrik.
Lyriks coil vote as well but there are precious few for sale. There's a pair new old stock on eBay currently for about £325 but the seller is new and based in Portugal.
I would if my budget was bigger have picked a lyrik but more than happy with my Sektor now its set up nicely.
Lyriks, I've got both and the lyrics blow the sektors out of the water. But then they would as Lyrics are more like the Revs in terms of cost.
The only thing in the sektors favour is weight. So if it's for more XC/AM than AM/DH the Sketors or Revs would be better.

Having had both, and used them a lot, a Lyrik blows a Pike into the weeds. 🙂
absolutely true..
still riding both...
Thanks
