Hi

Apologies for the stupid question but I've just treated myself to a new Hope2/Crest front wheel and I'm looking for some advice regarding a new rotor. My current wheels have shimano hubs and these came with shimano centrelock rotors. I take it that any 6 bolt rotor will work with the Hope hubs ? or are there any in particular that i should avoid ? Was looking at the Shimano XTRT76 (160mm) which is currently on sale for 20 quid. Will this do the trick or is there better out there for the money ?

Any help would be appreciated

Cheers

Just get a KCNC Razor at £20 from Clee Cycles or XC Racer.
160mm = 73g
Stainless steel 6-bolt goes with any colour hub.
Works with Magura and Shimano callipers for me.

Hope factory wheels so black hubs. Will have a look at the Hope. These ok with shimano calipers ? Paul, thanks for that. Will have a look at those. Another daft question ? Do the rotors come with mounting bolts ?

KCNC do come with bolts.Nicely made but I had a compatability issue with a Fox F100RL and XT caliper.Rear fitted fine though.

As much as I love my Avids, I'd steer clear of the G3 rotors. My Elixir's eat them for brekky so much so I've gone back to G2 rotors just for a bit of longevity.

I'd go with either genuine Shimano or Hope discs.

But yes, just about anything in the right diameter and 6 bolt should be fine.

I'd get the RT76

Where did you see them on sale for £20?

Thanks folks. Went with the RT76 in the end.

Where did you see them on sale for £20?

Merlin 22.50 delivered. Ordered an hour ago and already dispatched. On One also have them for 19.99 plus 2.50 P&P.
