Does anyone know if dropper posts are supposed to work in cold weather?
I bought my first new off-the-peg bike since 1998 last month, prior to that I've been upgrading bits, but I finally got 'standards' fatigue. So this is the first time I've owned a dropper-post, specifically a 'ROCKSHOX Reverb Stealth, 125mm travel, Ø 31,6mm'.
Yesterday I took it out for it's inaugural run over the South Downs, it was frosty and cold, and the post didn't seem interested in joining in, it did nothing when I pressed the button, not even when I got off and gave it an extra push. I've since brought it back in the house and it's tickey-boo.
Has anyone experienced anything similar? Would a different fluid work better?

Yep, I always find they are sloooow in the cold.
Both mine and my riding buddies were lazy at BPW today.

Piss. That doesn't bode well for my plan to head to Afan in early Feb!

Thanks for the confirmation.

It should still work - mine slows but works and it's been out in silly cold after a night on the roof of the car. Try opening it up to full fast on the remote? I'd try a bleed after if that didn't help.
