I'm in need of new riding shorts or bibs. Newest pair is about 6 years old.

I'll need to buy about 6 pairs so not looking for expensive lycra offerings but would like comfort and durability.

Endura was great kit when I bought it - before 2006 and the tights, 3/4s and shorts are definitely aged. However what is their stuff like nowadays?

I'm ok for tops but needing lower body kit... probably tights and bib shorts. I'm finally shifting weight so hoping whatever size I am will accommodate current girth and reduce to work with my thinner size.

Thanks.

Try Galibier - good kit at reasonable prices. Been very impressed with the bits I have (shorts, wind jersey, gilet and gloves). Just picked up a rain jacket from them in sale but not used yet.
I’m planning on getting a few more things from them as well.

The planet X bibs are comfy and good value for money.
Got some of the lighter weight ones for £20 recently.

Sadly Endura ain't what it used to be - it peaked around 2012 in terms of quality and construction (Singletrack II shorts for me), with subsequent iterations being cheaper and much less robust. They claim they're back on track now with the latest versions, but worth trying before you buy
