So am thinking about replacing the shock on my Meta 5. Currently got a basic Fox R fitted which has Propedal but its not adjustable.

Would replacing it with a Fox RP2 which has adjustable Propedal make much difference?

RP2 does not have adjustable propedal just on and off.

I didn't really like ProPedal on mine, but other than that the Float R is a good shock. The performance of the RP2/23 doesn't seem any better, just more adjustable.
I suppose it depends what aspect you want to improve.

I have an RP2 and can't fault it - I switch propedal on and off quite a bit for climbs etc, quite useful imo. I'm not sure if an RP23 performs better, or is just more adjustable. You can have too much adjustment sometimes imo.

I've got a RP23 on my Meta 5, works well enough for what i need. Usually just leave it on the middle setting(2)and 'try' and remember to switch the pro-pedal on and off for downhill (fun) bits 🙂

Get it serviced and "Pushed" by TF Tuned.

Is a modification to internals which will drastically improve performance. IME it negates need for propedal at all.
