Over the last couple of months, I've rebuilt MrsF's old Juliana for our eldest son, who's 12 and about 4ft 10.
The fork and shock needed servicing and TFT have set them up with the lightest damping possible.
A lot of parts we already had, but the 1x11 drivetrain is all new.
It was powder coated at Triple S in Bingley and Slik Graphics did the decals. (I've ordered a matching decal for the shock too).

Thanks.
Hoping he'll appreciate the difference in riding. The fork on his Saracen Mantra was massively overdamped and no matter what i did with it, he never got more than about 20mm of travel with appallingly slow rebound.
I think this fork will be a...wait for it, wait for it...revelation. 🙂
One thing that struck me while putting it back together, I'm glad we've moved off IS mount brakes, with all those bloody shims. that was the only part of the build that was a PITA.
First ride this weekend i think.

I see what you did there...

Just what we need, another Santa Cruz riding weekend warrior 😉
weeding.
good job though OP. looks great for a nipper!
Bike looks good, get that cable on the wall sorted though.
What new bike has MrsFlash got coming?
Oh yes, that's rather awesome ! he'll be made up with that 😀
Excellent. Eldest mini-a11y is the same height (147cm and she's only recently turned 10...) - this is the sort of bike I'd love to put together for her next. Currently on a Vitus 26" hardtail and TBF there's nothing wrong with it, even the forks work surprisingly well for how light weight. If she continues riding like she has been I'd like to get her on a FSer next.
Envy of the playground. That is a cool looking bike. Nice one.
Where I grew up I am not sure how long it would survive in the bike shed before it disappeared
Kids on bikes rock. 🤘🤘🤘
