Manchester Wheelers and Buxton Cycling Club are a little too far out. Glossop Velo are on the other side of Chunal. Doable if there's nothing else (if they'll have me). I've been on the British Cycling website and I can't find any local club. Hayfield Hub are mainly mountain bike (and I know a few of the lads) and I'm really looking for a road club with a bit of cross and mtb thrown in but that's not massively important.
I see loads of groups of road and mtb'ers go past my front door mid week evenings and at weekends.
I wondered if there was a local club going under the radar that somebody on here might know of?

Chinley Churners might work for you - facebook group if you explain you're local and looking and ask for an invite. Mostly road at weekends, two, sometimes three ability groups and occasional midweek riding partners.

the spinners are friendly, "club" runs are currently every other Sunday but I think will go weekly over summer. 7.30 am start for a 2 hour ride

also try Cheshire road club who meet at the rising sun in Hazel grove

Also consider stockport clarion

and a couple of others
