My Giro Hex of 5 years is a bit tired

What are the cool kids wearing now?

Or should I just buy another Hex?

I've had 2 Hex's and been impressed with them both. Both got cracked on the side following nasty crashes. Exactly what I want them to do so no complaints there.

However I fancied a change so went with a troy Lee designs a1 this time. Can't believe how well it fits. Feels like a cosy hat. Haha.

You should try a few to see what's comfortable,it's no use buying something that people recommend if it doesn't fit you correctly, however if it fits I'd recommend a Bell.
I bought a Bell Stoker earlier this year,Halfords were selling them for buttons.
It's the most comfortable helmet I've had & more importantly I had a couple of big offs wearing it at Les Arcs, landed on my head twice & ended up with whiplash but the helmet only has a couple of dents in it,it certainly saved me & now I'm looking to get the version with the detachable chin guard.

Had a hex, cracked it in a crash, borrowed GF's pink hex as a couldn't find something I either liked or fitted, used that for 2 years then bought a hex.

Boils down to this: Buy a hex

Just replaced my helmet with a bell super 2r. Very comfortable and useful with the chin bar. The Troy lee is super comfy as well but warmer.

Got a POC Trabec now AMAZING! bit Marmite on looks but comfy in all weathers. new POC helmet out in 2016 so will be upgrading to that.

other than those i think the Bluegrass Goldeneye helmet looks good and a mate has one who thinks its the dogs swingers! oh and another mate has a troy lee A1 but says its hotter than hell

The 7idp M2 looks like a great value helmet.

I got a Bluegrass Golden Eye earlier this year...

I'm very impressed with it but it does keep my head a bit too warm 😆

Srsly? How cool do you think you look in a bike helmet?

Not cool is the answer. Would you wear one on a night out?

Sportpursuit had some Lazers reduced - good helmets.
