Specifically R9100.

Shimano now moved to one mech size only in Dura Ace I understand , which is max 30T. I note there are some nice 11-30 cassettes too.

Any thoughts on ability to use 11-32T? Without something like wolf tooth roadlink?

Or even 11-34T? Big, steep, long rides this year and the extra would be nice. No sneering please. Any advices much appreciated!

Anyone use the roadlink?

Cheers.

Nothing stopping you using an R8000GS mech and the 11-34 cassette. Likely to be the option with the best shift quality.

Thanks. It may be an option to swap with. Seen it for circa £62 for mech and £53 for cassette. Not bad really.

Should have said, have the 9100 mech already! Too good a price. Only ever owned one xtr mech and usually make do with x9/ SLX on the mtb in case of rock/mech interfaces!

Thought I'd treat myself on the road build.
