HI all Im looking at buy a new frame to replace my 2017 Trek Remedy.

Other than Birds Aeries 145 sale I'm struggling to find anything similar.

I have a budget of £1400 needs to be 27.5 and take a 150mm fork.

Any ideas would help thanks.

Quick google showed up a few transition scout frames in alloy, meant to be a blast that thing!
AirDrop in that budget at the moment?

What are you looking to achieve in the swap?

But as above it looks like Airdrop have the Edit in stock, there’s the Transition Scout and the Bird Aether.

When I read the OP, my mind went straight to the Airdrop.

Although I think the new edit takes a 160mm fork? Sure it’s 155mm rear now

OP, what's the existing fork, could it be extended with an air shaft kit?

Start Fitness have previous gen Orange Five frames for £1,300 with Factory DPX shock, definitely seen medium and large ones.

If you usually ride a medium you can size up to large to get a nice modern reach.

Offset bushings or a slackening headset may also be a nice tweak (I've done both on that generation Oranges).

I know they are still not mega cheap, but you get a five-year warranty and they ride great.

Don’t think the aeris has downtube protection either does it?! Could you bolt/glue on some aftermarket protection type thing or does it have to be built in?
