Moving away from the brick shape camera, and no need for a separate case. Looks pretty good.

Meh, I reckon I was 'on it' first.
Or I bypassed the front page. 😀
I've updated my GoPro comparison spreadsheet to include the session, LCD+ and all other available GoPros even if they have been discontinued.

Doesn't sound all that impressive, given its price point.

Shame STW managed to tell us almost nothing about it other than not 4k and a video link where the still is a picture of girls in bikini's.
From Road.cc
To take advantage of the small size, GoPro has developed a new line of mounts, including the Low-Profile Frame that offers a wide range of adjustment, and locates the camera very close to the surface its fixed to. Then there’s the new Ball Joint Buckle which allows the Hero4 Session to be rotated through 180 degrees. It’s also compatible with any regular GoPro mount.
Like the sound of that ball joint mount!
After a little bit of reading... The GoPro Hero 4 Silver video quality is miles better than the tiny new one and you cannot replace the battery. The good news is that it does have a 2 hour battery life and there is no standby mode. This means the 2 hours battery life is actual recording time, the bad news is it takes 4 seconds to turn on and start recording.
There's a company making ball joints already, can't remember who but they're easy enough to find on ebay.Like the sound of that ball joint mount!
Mmmmmm. Life-capture solution.
