So,here's the dilemma,I fancy some new forks for my 2019 Crush h/t,I've got 150 boost Rockshox reba @ the mo,& would quite a like swap, but to what ?,I like the Rxf Ohlins, but also like Pikes,& had some fox 36's on my 5.. choices, choices.

Or,are there some too good to be true Corona deals to be had ?,what's your opinions/thoughts.

Stick. If you don't know why you want to swap and don't know what you want, then wait until you do.

Pikes for that sort of bike - plenty of good deals to be had.

Slight hijack.

How have you got in with longer travel Rebas? I’ve cheap Sektors on my bike at the minute and was considering Rebas in the 120-130 range, I don’t really do gnar, but something that’ll cope with Scottish Highland stuff, but light ish and not stupid expensive Rebas seems a good choice.

Bomber Z1's? Cheaper but heavier than 36's. Or Z2's which are stiffer fox 34's.

2020 Lyrik ultimate can be had cheapish, also 2020 pikes.

What characteristics of the Reba do you want to change?

I'm assuming the Reba is 32mm stanchions? if so, at 150mm that'd be a fair reason to swap out to 34/35/36mm.

What budget? as you've mentioned the Ö word I assume the sky's the limit - might be worth scanning some reviews of forks you fancy.

I’d avoid Öhlins. A mate had his set seize up whilst on bc road trip in whistler and no one could get the parts for service. He had to buy some rs lyriks at $1200 to see out the holiday.
I’d go pikes.

I am familiar with Ohlins from my motorbike back ground, and tbf, they're the bo**ox on them, but this is a MTB, so a different beast.

I hear what you're saying, theres deals on the Ohlins (& others), but I also take into account the reliability,& service & back up.

Yes they're 32mm,so a stiffer thicker station would help feel, less flex etc, I also like the remote lock outs, which mine don't have.

Whose doing the biz on Rockshox, as the Pike debonair is a great fork,no question.

How bout DVO Diamond or Sapphire

I have a mint 32mm Sapphire which I will be selling soon

It has, negative coil spring and lsc to lock firm (6 clicks)
Hsc too
Is same stiffness as pikes due to the brace and overall design

Deffo recommend DVO as widely available spares & unreal quick pro active CS

Lyrik gets a lot of love at the moment. Doesn't seem to be much heavier than a Pike, but more sensitive than a 36. I've got a Lyrik Ultimate 160 on order from R2-bike for just £580.

Yeah R2-bike Lyrik ultimates for 650 euros is pretty hard to beat at the moment.

Lyriks or Pikes would be decent. I’m running a 14mm Pike RC on a Vitus Sentier and a 140mm rct3 Lyrik on a Bird Aether 7. The Lyrik is a little bit better in terms of plushness and suspension control on rocky stuff - but on a hardtail the Pike is more then adequate and it’s a bit lighter.

So whichever has the best deal I’d think. Equally a Z2 is a stiffer version of a normal 34, as is the 34 Rhythm- but the Grip damper isn’t as good as the Charger in the RS.

Given your criteria, how about the Formula Selva? It's a lovely lilac colour.
