Hi all,
I'm looking for a new set of forks - 130mm travel would do and was thinking about RockShox Yari.
Are there any others that I may have a look over - I don't really read the magazines so not really in step with the latest innovations, or if which company has the edge this year.

The Revalation is to the Pike what the Yari is to the Lyrik - the lighter build might be better suited to a shorter travel bike?
2018 Revelation will be great for 130mm.
2018 not 2017!
Do you need a 35mm fork on a 130mm bike? I'd go for a Pike if I really wanted 35mm stanchions as the damping is much better than the Yari. If I didnt really need the stiffer fork and couldnt get a Pike you might as well get a Rev.
2018 rev is a motion control pike
As above, 2018 Revelations, I have only got a couple of rides on mine but I have been impressed so far, difference in stiffness from my old 32mm revs is very noticeable. I am running mine at 140mm.
I've got a set of 2017 Yari forks on my new bike and I'm really impressed with them. nice and stiff (they are Boost) and really plush as well.
I had a go on a set of X-fusion Sweeps/McQueens with the roughcut damper on assorted Cotics on their demo on Saturday. I was hugely impressed, very supple to begin with but the damping gave tons of support in the mid stroke. Really composed forks which felt balanced with the CCDBIA on the back.
I had a go on the regular RL2 after and wasn't so impressed, felt much less composed and quite divey.
