Im after some riding (singletrack ideally) around this area, with a half decent country pub at the end. Any recommendations?
How far from there is OK ?
Fritham's under 10 miles I should think. Bank probably similar; both nice pubs. Brook, probably 5 miles and nice enough pub(s)
You're aware there is no [u]permitted[/u] singletrack in the NF ?

If it's this weekend I can't really offer anything beyond "do some exploring". I may be able to find a route or two next week (my mate does the navigating so I don't really think that much about it). They're all a bit indistinct and hard to describe verbally but basically, big gravel paths head out from Fritham and there is off-piste to be had all around them, if you should "lose" the main path.
Good news is that it's been really dry so much harder to find yourself in a bog, which is very easy in winter.
