A local program called inside out bbc1 @ 19.30

Wonder who will look best, cyclists or 'locals' 🙄

Nibbyism at its best, apparently cyclist are dangerous, well so are the cars that are travelling faster than the 40mph speed limit and killing the animals in the forest. Get off my land is about right those protesting idiot, they have already ruined one arranged weekend ride by spreading tacks across the road and moving cycling route markers, so now who is being dangerous?

First 10 mins of inside out south on iPlayer.
It is a giggle, and shows what everyone has to deal with 😉

"My mate is going to block off roads on race days with his tractor"

"look at them....cycling along CHATTING to eachother"

2 of my favourite quotes

Saw the preview at lunchtime - fat nimby spouting the usual.
The MTB side looked good, well organised, safe, etc but with the nimby's shouting about "speeding side by side down narrow Singletrack lanes being dangerous....."
Although the roadies three abreast and six deep didn't help but no change there

I particularly enjoyed the 'you can't do it here because it doesn't fit' comment. A well-constructed argument if ever I heard one....

Comic nimbyism. Apparently some people have the audacity to ride up box hill more than once.
