Hoping the forum can offer some sage advise about cycling glasses. I've had a set of Spesh Singletrack Adaptalite glasses (see below) for quite a while, but the optics are starting to degrade.

Im after something similar and have found the photocromatic lenses (they darken / lighten according to conditions) very useful.
Given that Spesh dont make glasses anymore, can the hive suggest something similar that wont drain my wallet?
Why not just take them to an optician and get them re-glazed?

I've just got some Salice 006 crx photochromic specs for commuting, they're very good and reasonably priced too.

Yes. Shop around though; a chain probably won't want to do it but a good local will. If you're lucky enough to live close, ask the very excellent Junaid at Ideal Eye Care in Whalley New Road, Blackburn.
I just purchased some Oakley evzero photochromic range glasses to replace my old specialised shades.
The oakleys are better in every way. RRP is 170 but can be picked up in Europe for just over 100 posted.
Budget is Probably max of £60 tops.
I'll have a chat with a good customer of mine who is an optician....

I think that for things like eyes, and seeing properly, spending a bit of money is better than scrimping.
The clear impactX photochromic lenses are fantastic, usable from night-time all the way through to high altitude in the Italian Alps.
My Specialized Arc Terra Adaptalite's broke and I've been looking for replacements. Uvex have some reasonable looking options at less than Oakley prices, but not sure on quality.
Anyone tried the Endura Gabbro with photocromatic lenses? They're around the £60 mark and look quite smart and understated (in the photos!)
Just spoke with the Opticians. Looks like they might be able to supply replacement tinted photochromic lenses AND do me a deal!
Thanks globalti, I'd never even thought of that as being an option.
Bugger, re-glazing not an option in a comparable tint and the lens shape will be difficult to do.

Have a look at Decathlon, they do a bunch of photochromic glasses at around £30. I've got a few of their regular sunnies and very happy with them.
Thanks for that steezysix, I've ordered a pair for a smidge under £30, I'll see how it goes.
