Time to replace my BB and crankset and thinking of going for a 30mm BB and Hope crankset. Anyone used the Hope crankset yet? Any feedback? I know the fitting process is a little over complicated but once on you shouldn't have to remove very often.

I was going to get another Raceface crack as I like the very simple fitting system on these and so far they have worked well on my bikes.

Yeah, went from raceface to Hope, its a little long winded to fit, but super solid and nicely made. Better performance? Not really, but it looks nice!

Love my Hope crankset, super stiff & I really believe it has improved perfomance but then I was coming from a totally shit & heavy one.

But in hindsight I'd go for a RaceFace Nextie carbon.

You will not be tied to Hope rings, having a bigger choice of chainrings including oval & yes less faff to fit.

@MadBillMcMad

you can use the regular 104BCD spider to open up the ring choice. personally i am happy being tied to hope rings, the spiderless one is a work of CNC perfection!

Thanks for the feedback guys. As much as I wanted the Hope crankset I was talked out of it by my lbs in preference to a Shimano XT M8000 and just replacing the seized BB bearing. Worked out much cheaper for now as funds became a bit of an issue so for now this will get me back riding the bike but no bling factor 🙂
