I am a bit disappointed that they don't appear to be doing the carbon 29er as a frame only.
Yellowstone 29er looks like a good budget choice, interesting component choices for the Nerve CF - seems like the cheaper ones are more XC/trail and the pricey options are XC/race, they seem to have dropped the alu time trail bikes and I think they've dropped the cheap Ultimate Al with Di2.
Disappointed the Nerve AL 9.9SL is SRAM not Shimano, the 7.9 is a bargain though (FS 29er @ £1549 with SLX/XT and Fox forks/shock), availability is April next year though 🙁
My '2012' Grand Canyon Al 29er arrived a few hours ago,
Exactly the same as the 2013 one, even the colour, but was £100 less. Feeling pretty lucky / relieved about that!
Also taken by the AL 7.9. But the delivery dates are end of March 🙁
Good spec & good price.
Gonna grab a Al 7.0 end of November or so, looking forward to it and glad prices havn't shifted much (bar euro slipping)
Some nice improvements on the strive esx 9 bike; shimano gears, carbon bits and reverb stealth. Wonder how they've routed the hose and if I could do the same on my 2012... £500 more tho
Disappointed the Nerve AL 9.9SL is SRAM not Shimano,
Nowt wrong with SRAM X0/X9 but it you get it with proper size wheels it's lighter and comes with XTR/XT.
The new Nerve AL+ frame looks like a decent improvement over the AM, the AL+ 9.0 is what I've got my eye on and is half a kg lighter than last years AM 9.0.
XX1 on the top Strive AL model.
Interesting that they've specced a chain guide with it.
There seems to be fewer Formula brakes this year. More Avid. Shame.
ooooo..... will look when I get home.... tried last night and the site was down so thought it must be the 2013 bikes!
Bit disappointed with the carbon 29ers seem a bit expensive when you compare to the bargain alloy bikes. Damn.
My thoughts exactly, especially as I don't like the spec that much.
