So I must admit that this is a bit bandwagon esque but .......
Yes I know it has 1/2 too many brakes but I'm just trying to be responsible.
I've had the fixed disc rear wheel for a few years now (picked up from Stu of this parish IIRC) and I used it on my Inbred as a fixie but its hung in the garage for too long so its time has come to be put back into service.
F&F are a Genesis DayOne that I had refinished and the rest of the kit I already had in the spares pile.
First impressions are that its fun. Geared 42x16 may be a bit much off road but I could always gear down.
Now to just wait for the jeggings to arrived and I'm all ........ fixed

Lovely looking bike.👍 Covers a lot of bases. Be ideal coming up for winter too I should imagine.
Thanks Lotto.
Fork clearance with the 35s fitted is surprisingly tight for a build that would have come with 35s - That said the Panaracers do often come up large. A Surly fork would alleviate this but I'm trying to keep the cost down 🙂
Looks lovely.good to see 2 brakes on a fixed.is it going offroad.
Does that frame sticker say Reynolds 666? 😁
good to see 2 brakes on a fixed.
Is it fixed or singlespeed? You can run them as a proper fixie, despite there not being a lock ring as you don't need the pedal brake with the rear disk fitted. I do, and it's never unscrewed yet.

32`s as standard, with clearance for mudguards.
This is fixed. It’s a HG splined faux free hub so uses conventional SS sprockets and lock ring.
I’ve not mastered applying enough pressure/confidence to lock the rear wheel yet so the brakes are a security “thing”.
That said controlling speed without braking is fine but hats off to anyone riding fixed illegally and brake less - that’s not one for me!
