I always fancied giving one of these a try.
Purists wont like it but the frame was free and the bits came from an already amassed pile of bits.

*ignores the rockery in favour of going 😯 at the saddle angle*
Nice, I still miss my '93 Zaskar LE was my most abused bike but still kept going.
Think I may have put Avid Arches on mine at some point too! They really were not anything special form memory load heavier but no better at braking.
Ah yes must address the saddle angle 😯 prior to maiden voyage.
Herb bed shots just for you wwaswas 😉
Herb bed
Gentrification of the 'random pile of rocks with some soil in it'.
It's gone a bit upmarket since I first saw it 😉
Not normally a fan of GT bikes but that looks really great, a nice clean build, I got a soft spot for a polished frame. Did you repaint the Bombers?
Thanks for the comments.
Bombers are original paint.
Z4 Lowers with Z2 internals 8)
Needs a race face crankset, but apart from that....[sigh]
I do like that
irc tyres really suit it.
looks fast, fast fast (in the dry and dust).
Love the bomber upgrade 🙂
And to think we all ran stems that long once...
How did we go down hills?

I really like that (asides from saddle and stem angle) - IRC Mythos XCs were great tyres IMO, shame they stopped making them..
Thank you for all the comments guys.
I would be lying if I said I hadn't at one point had a Hans Rey poster up on the wall 😆
135mm stem isn't long .....
This is long:
A mere 150mm 😯
Now all I need is some good weather to get out on her ..... no wait ....
Very nice bike indeed,i love it . Have fun i ride my retro '97 Beast of the east now and again and it rides fantastic doesn't slow down too good but still cracking - enjoy the sun .
