I need to replace my ancient and now leaky Hayes Mag disc brakes. What's the state of the art for "sensible money" at the moment?
They are going on a Santa Cruz Blur for conventional UK XC use, so nothing too heavy duty. I'd like light, easy to adjust, and easy to buy pads for, ideally!
My current thinking is a set of Avid Elixir Rs - any feedback from owners on here, or comparisons with the Juicy 7s?
Cheers,
Pete

I would personally say shimano xt's. Very good braking power, and look slick
