Many thanks to Sam(what a nice guy)for sorting me with an ex demo with a lovely pewter badge at a bargain price. Lookmanohands not only built my wheels today but ended up putting it all together, great day in the sun; tea, tour talk and bike build.
First ride tomorrow starting at 'Swifts Hill' Slad.

is the chain long enough?

whats the rear mech going to be doing when you put it in the biggest sprocket? 😯

Best, most 'right' looking 29er I've ever seen. Well, it doesn't look ugly, and that's one hell of a compliment!

First ride done. Very very good, and a pleasure all round. chain is fine, keeps a bit of tension on the 1x9, the shadow mech seems to not mind. Sold my cotic soul(hard decision) for this, and on first impressions, no regrets.

Nice but the mix of silver seapost/stem and black spacers,hs,seat clamps isn't quite right (and mine's the same which is why I spotted it...). All black or all silver I reckon...

You know, I really hate people who have a Pegasus.... I turn green with envy every time and my wallet gets twitchy. 😉

My Swift is in 1x9 configuration at present and I had all sorts of trouble with the chain dropping and jamming in the chain device. Easy fix with a SS chainring, it stays put all the time now!

There are only two mtbs I have never regretted buying, one is my SC Superlight and the other my Swift. Cracking bikes and they all look ace!

bike24 for the nics, 29euros each, snakeskin so good for tubeless. clubber- dont fret silver seatclamp going on. leaving black headset as it matches the fork crown better. plus its got silver surley torsion bars, silver spokes. nn decal is silver also...tart i know but its such a pretty frame and i let go of the soul so i had to do it nicely. btw bash and jumpstop works a treat 1x9, very tidy on the eye also.

Anyone had tubeless success with non-snakeskin Nobby Nics 29s?
