Some of you might know that I already had a PnF, but to be honest, whilst it was good to ride, it always felt a little big (57cm) despite the sizing recommendations on PX's website. Anyway, an opportunity arose which allowed me to drop my frame size from a large to a medium for no cost. Coupled with the retirement of my Litespeed and the sale of my Pegasus, this is the resulting 3into1 bike:

Struggling to find something to criticise. Lovely bike, that. What are the forks?

So guessing the M comes up as 55cm in which case it looks good to my fit and I shall await for when it is advertised in the classifieds. 😉

Wow, not much to dislike there. Classier than Robin Hood in a tux.

What rims? My first one came with some Selcofs that were quite light. Feb 2014. Next one ,Apr 2014 came with crappy On One reetards. Replaced with Pacenti cl25's on Hope. Most peed off as they now come hydro for 100 quid more. Lovely ride, sometimes with Challenges Strada Biancas in 30mm. Fitted a 27.2 chinresr to seatpin which added even more comfort.
Despite early rumours a road compact fits with no spacers and I reckon a 36 inner ring would fit.

Much prefer the look of those to the tripster; nice build. Although those bars look to be the worst shape ever conceived, and that stem is a monstrosity. Points must be docked for loads of stem spacers and an inline post aswell.

Stem spacer stack would suggest 57cm was in fact the correct size. Nice looking ride though

I think some compact bars would quicken the steering up a bit and it'd probably mean you'd be able to lose the stem spacers aswell.

Inline post and short stem would suggest otherwise 🙂

Just the standard forks that came with the frame.

In all honesty, and ignoring anything other than the spec, I'd have preferred the Tripster due to the guard and rack mounts, but this whole bike cost me less than the price of the Tripster frameset.

Also, for £1500, I think I'd be looking for internal (DI2) cable routing and a 30mm shell capable of taking a decent EBB in case of running hub-gears.

They're FSA K-wings and are surprisingly comfortable compared to normal compact drops.

Respectfully, I find that the ETT has significantly more effect on comfort and fit and the ETT on PXs website was once (incorrectly) stated as 570mm for the large, not the 580mm it states now. It was my e-mail to them which got them to change it.

Regardless, I've purposefully left the steerer quite long until I've checked the bike fit over a few weeks. I always do this with a new bike.

I like the bars. Might be the angle of the photos, but those do look like they need rotating forwards quite a bit.

I think it's a combination of both. The bars could do with being rotated, but then the brakes will need moved back too, which in turn means redoing the bar tape...*sigh* not quite finished.

Nice, what is the deal with chainsets then? Hopefully On-One will get some shimano groupsets in at some point!

Daffy, that looks great, love the mix of Ti and Carbon forks, and the brown tape and saddle really makes it different.

You build nice looking bikes.

When running a DA7900 10sp chainset, I found a 1.5-2mm spacer was (by preference) required to keep the inner and outer chainrings a reasonable distance from the stays. The new 11sp (DA9000) gear seems to be setup for a centre chainline approximately 1-2mm further outboard from the BB face. As a result, nothing is required for the chainrings to clear the stays with decent clearance.
