it sounds exactly like disc brake rub, but I removed both rotors and it still made the same noise
it's something in the wheels because it happens when coasting, it's related to flex in some way because you only hear it on a pedal stroke or when leaning the bike, I can't tell if it's the front or the rear, I have put little bits of tissue where the spokes cross to rule this out, the preload on the bearings seems ok
I don't have access to another wheel set, so I'm out of ideas now
help!
ok I think I have narrowed it down to front wheel spokes, they are bladed and some make a rattly noise when you ping them, the tension seems even and the wheel is true, but are bladed spokes known to be noisy?
