Hi, my girl has asked me to get her a bike as she is anxious to get back in shape once our 4th child is born, and I suggested she spend some time with me on our local trails. Looking for some reccomendations please. Im in Ireland so Ill be spending 400 - 600 euros. Not sure what the sterling equivalent is. No specific requirements, Ive been checking out some sites, but interested to hear peoples suggestions. Thanks!

I think after giving birth to 4 children she deserves a little more spent on her!!

Only joking 😀

tbh if she hasn't given birth yet, I'd wait for a bit longer and see what comes up in the late summer/autumn sales. I'm sure the collective power of forum users will find some bargain for her when the sales start 🙂

Thanks. Yeah it will be later on in the year before shes ready to get back on a bike. She hasnt cycled in a few years so hence the modest budget. No sense blowing a fortune and wind up using the bike to hang the laundry on.

This looks lush in the flesh-

Otherwise a Specialized Myka of some description is a good bet.

What about Commencal Normal/Disc? I know its not "girl specific" but the frame is very low.
