managed to ride my new on one parkwood offroad this morning.
only 30 minutes of steady ups and downs in the local woods on my commute to work.
1st impressions are, it is very light. moreso at the front end.
it seems to climb quite easily when seated, possibly due to the short stays?
10 spd works very nice, you can stay in the middle ring more.
bars are to wide even for my man size shoulders, rockshox revs are fantastic.
all in all a very nice 1st ride.

mountainbikes are ace................. 8)

Damn you, ton, I'd just managed to convince myself that I don't need to replace my c456...

I really want one but I'm put off by all the PX bashing threads.

You do know that bike needs some "scar stitching" decals on it for full effect.

Come on, glad to hear you are back out.

Ton's probably got enough stitching scars of his own without putting some on his bike too.... Welcome back to the off road riding 8)
