I saw the picknflick frame offer on Thursday, ordered the frame and it was delivered yesterday.
Built it up today with a mishmash of parts I had on my retro cannondale build.
It's a 1-10 with a 38 chainring and 11-28 cassette.
Spyre brakes, sram rival shifters and mech.
all that will be swapped when I get my hands on a force cx1 group set for decent money.
Decided to fit some road tyres just to do a shake down ride - it rides really nicely but not sure how low to go on the front end. I could slam the stem but it's going to be 50/50 road, off road so I'll trim the steerer later.
I wouldn't slam it just yet, put 200ks on it first.
Looks nice that.
I know, I need to get some miles on first. I could do with some more length, so may opt for a longer stem which will also change the bar hight.
What wheels?
They're 50mm carbon clinchers from China.
What chain is that?
I don't approve of this gravel bike bollocks, but that is lovely.
New panels, no weeds, valve / logo alignment.... You've shown STW a bike before haven't you!
But that's a nice nice bike. If you could slap a double on up front I can assess my next purchase
Oooo I like - not noticed the down tube profile on the picknflick before...
I don't approve of this gravel bike bollocks
can't see any logic in that statment,
what's not to approve of, the name, the type of riding, or the type of bike?
Thanks for the comments.
Need some bar tape but undecided on black or potentially green or snow camo.
.
Don't do snow camo, I currently have some and it just isn't worth it...
Nice build.
Camo, then make the same detail on the fork to match..
