After owning a 27.5 Evol for 3 years and passing that to my daughter thought I would build up a new incarnation in 29 guise!
Not ridden it in anger yet so a few more tweeks possible.
Cane Creek front and rear
SLX XT Drivetrain/brakes mix
Burghtec Stem bars
One Up Dropper
Hunt trail wide carbon wheels

Thought the same, but intensive zooming in tells me they're both 29

I built one up a year ago and love it, really nice geometry. Holding up well so far.

Nice build! Welcome to the club, I've had mine for around a year now, absolutely loving it still.

I have an Evol almost ready to build. Can you explqin how you routed the cable for the internal dropper?

It seems to go round the BB and then a further bend to go into the seat tube. The BB shell isnt perforated, so it cant go via there.

It also seems like the gear and rear brake cable will want to habe a nibble of the BB shell

Like that, tidy, looks a bit more finished than the earlier sonder fs bikes

Properly sorted bike, looks understated (in a very good way).

Enjoy

I've got a big lump of 3M mastic tape stuck under the BB on mine, you're right, the brake and gear cables do try to eat the frame as the suspension compresses!

@scud

Says FO is 42mm.

Can't find my delivery sheet right now, might be listed on there.

Great thanks for that, just got one of the ebay frames Alpkit were selling, bit couldn't find on Sonder website.. I presume although frame is boost, the chainset spacing isn't looking at it?
