It's RED, so it's fast.
It's got EIGHT GEARS, so it's REALLY, REALLY fast.
It's also very light, and really nicely put together. First ride a great success. Background of an old abandoned farm building, avoiding any criticism of garden
When you grow up, you always remember your bikes, and you remember that every ride was a dusty, sun dappled dreamlike experience.
Today was one of those days that will stick in the memory.
Nice that!
Junior 1 started off on the 12" wheeled Specialized Hotrock.....just graduated from a Specialized Enduro to a Large Geomotron.
They grow up fast, enjoy it.
Is it an XTC Junior? Very cool looking thing.
Munrobiker, it's an ARX 24. Comes in a wide range of big, bold colours, as do the rest of the ARX range. Good for shops, as they can carry three sizes in a couple of colours on the shop floor and cover all desires.
It's light, especially for the money, and all the details are there. Really good reach adjustable brake levers, and lovely light action shifting. Every pre-assembled bolt was set at the perfect torque.
Nice fast rolling tyres with enough tread for child friendly speed and fun.
If I had one criticism, the pedals are a little too small for the size of bike. I'll be upgrading those.
All in all, it's an excellent bike. OK, so maybe it doesn't have the playground cred or "oh, but the resale values, dahhhling" of certain brands, but it's just a very, very good bike.
A red one, too. 😎
