New bike arrived today, Sonder Camino Ti, looking forward to putting some miles on this. Hopefully get some nice clear crisp winter days, got some touring planned next year already, I'm quite excited by the prospect, must be getting old....
But first I'll need to replace the wheels, seatpost, stem, saddle, just because I can.

Enjoy though. I had a prolonged loan of a Ti Camino a few years ago, was very nice!

I bought a PlanetX Tempest about a month ago, upgrades are Zipp Seatpost, Stem and Bars. Wheels wise, I’m just waiting on a new freehub /Shimano DT Swiss to Campag New thingy majig, once that arrives they’ll be going on my Bontrager Aeolus 38mm carbon wheels. This will be in more of a road and dry gravel set up (38mm slick tyres).
Like you, I’ve also got some touring planned for next year….and the new bike is actually making me want to do the Rapha Festive 500 for the first time.
My girlfriends French and family are all out there. First tour is from Marseille to Mont Ventoux and then over to Chamonix. Got to wait for the snow to melt…..so probably end of May.

Good spot! If it's the other way round it clashes with the water bottle. A bottle holder extender is on order to lower the front water bottle and the frame bag is a temporary loan from Alpkit at ByC to get me home until a larger Alpkit Deluge (waterproof) framebag is back in stock.
Most importantly I'm thoroughly enjoying riding a Camino Ti. I went for the GRX1 with the tubeless and cassette upgrades.
Looks great. Not so sure about the single ring set up. I do have a gravel bike with a one by set up but earlier this year bought a new gravel bike with a double chainring. It is so much better on the steep hills and when I want a big gear ( mostly a tailwind descent these days) it gives me more options to push on at higher speeds.
I was happy with the 5 to 1 ratio the upgraded cassette gave me. TBF I am not the fastest of riders so less interested in top speeds but I have yet to see if I will need a smaller chainring for steeps when bike packing. The bike the Camino replaced had an Alfine rear hub with a 3 to 1 ratio and I knew it pedalling fully loaded up the Gospel Pass. Will see.

I’ve had my ti for over 12 months and love getting out on it.
I’ve put a ti post on, a brooks saddle and a boat load of miles.

Nice bike though.
Look at dropping the bottle cage further down using a Wolftooth attachment, makes it easier with a frame bag.
I also use side entry Zefal cages on my gravel bike.
