Haha yeah, forks need setting up - not sagged at the moment and full of air. Also left steerer longer with spacers to experiment with bar height.

Looking good. It's the almost finished bit that takes the longest though. My new build has been almost finished for 2 weeks...

I’d get some black grips and desticker the rims 🧐 if it were mine.

Looks nice

Really liking the XT shifting, nice light action, the ability to go up/down multiple gears at a time with the long push is good too.

Have ordered a 10spd XT shifter for the Mega 😁

Had forgotten how different a hard tail is to ride - not ridden one in over 12 months. Once I got used to using my legs as suspension again it went really well

Tyre pressures need adjustment as running close to 30psi to make sure the beads are properly on and the fluid gets round everywhere. Will drop them to mid 20's for tomorrow's ride.

Nice build mate!

The Uberbike rotors are a nice touch too, I have those.

Nicely proportioned bike too.👍

@Poopscoop - thanks, wasn't sure about the rotors before I put them on but quite subtle and not in your face like I thought they would be.

Also forgot to say the Bontrager dropper lever is also really nice to use.

Very nice, I briefly had a Scout 290 and it was brilliant! I shouldn't have sold it really but it was just to tide me over while I waited for my BFe to arrive. I really like the new colour schemes too, it's very tempting to build another one up!
