A replacement for the stolen Voodoo Erzulie, that MrsF had had since, I think, 2007.
Sonder/Alpkit were really helpful with ordering/delivery/build. They knew we were in a hurry, built it superfast, adjusted the spec to supply it with a Recon instead of Reba as they were out of Rebas. We bought the Reba at Wiggle and I swapped it last night.
It's probably going to need a slightly longer and dropped stem, to get the bars lower, but we'll see how it goes on the first few rides.

There seem to be very few xc hardtails that are not either low-spec entry level bikes, or £4k+ race bikes. Seems to be a big gap from about £1200 to £3000.
Of course, you then add in stock levels...
BTW, the Recon weighed 2370g, for a 100mm fork!!! Reba is 1630.
