You don't need to be an 'investor' to invest in Singletrack: 6 days left: 95% of target - Find out more
After suffering with the long Covid and finding MTB a struggle as a result I sold my MTB. I have now bought something new (only new bike I’ve bought in a long time) in the hope of building up my fitness. I’m going to start saving for a Swarf Contour whilst I get back to peak.
The paint finish is gorgeous in the flesh and it seems really well put together. Had a quick test ride up the street and it needs a couple of tweaks, but feels like good fun. Just need to set the tyres up tubeless, possibly get some wider flared drops and fit guards. Speaking of which does anybody have recommended full guards to use?
Will be using it for canal towpath, Singletrack, bridleways, commuting and (begrudgingly) roads to link up. Get my lung capacity and energy back so I can ride up hills again 😀
Ooo i like thst
Nice, that looks just like mine.
Thanks - Although pictures seem to have gone a bit wrong.
I have one just like that, superb bike !
Your thread, at least I think it was yours, is one of the things that convinced me to buy it. That and the price reduction at Winstanley. Thanks
Great paint job that 👍

I shall follow the time honoured tradition of killing them by riding like an idiot. A couple of weeks should do it.
Anybody know if full guards will fit with the stock tyres? Looks like plenty of room around them.
Love the bike. Hate the discs. Shimano road discs are the ugliest things out there. I stripped and sold the dinner plates for something prettier and probably less functional.
I'm using SKS Bluemels 45 Matte (with 40 tyres), but they're more flexible that the old, shiny SKS Longboards that I had and so can rattle a bit more...kinda bugs me, but it's not a sharp rattle, more a dull one if that makes sense? Anyway, it's not enough of an irritation for me to fork out another £30 to change them.
The discs are very strange. Look like an 80’s vision of a futuristic frisbee
Those discs are an homage to the mid-80s Renault Alpine GTA
