Be gentle - I've never built anything with drops before, so still have fiddling to do - will probably flip the stem. And yes, cut the lawn.

nice - is it a mtb with drops or a gravel bike?

It's a gravel frame, just 38c tyres for now, but it will take 45c which is getting into MTB territory, I guess. Flat pedals 'cos it will get used for local loops when I can duck out for half an hour, and commuting, etc.

Just flipped the stem. It bothered me when I saw the pic.

Yeah - it has the rack mounts and all the rest. No plans for any of that as it stands, but you never know

That's really rather lovely, congratulations on your purchase.

It's exactly what I'd like to replace my cheap alu frameset with, just wish it came in a brighter colour than black or quicksand.

I do like those & love the fact it'll take a tapered carbon fork too

Yeah, although I kind of like the aesthetics of the steel fork - a conventional headset/steerer would have suited me just fine, would have saved a few quid. Main thing was QR front and rear which meant I didn't need new wheels/hubs which made the whole thing affordable, I just needed the frame, bars/stem, chainring, headset and the Apex brakes/shifters and swiped the rest from my roadrat

It's a flower bed, but yeah, a headstone wouldn't look out of place
