Decided to get another road bike ss part of a 2011 get fit campaign so got SWMBO to pick me up a Boardman Team Carbon for Christmas as they were down to £899 for a little while.

I've been using it on the turbo trainer but gave it a little spin today once I fitted some race guards I'd picked up in the sales. First impressions are that it's a hell of lot lighter and faster than the last race bike I had (a Giant OCR3T) - 17.5lbs on my scales, without pedals or accessories, and 20.8lb as pictured.

I set the saddle angle on the trainer and I think I must have the front wheel a little high (although it looks worse in that picture 'cause the front wheel is a bit lower in the snow than the back one). The saddle will be getting replaced with a nice light and comfy Ti railed Litespeed one I've already got anyway though!

It came the other way round but the first thing I did was flip it to make it a tad more comfy.
