Been looking for a while to get a full sus bike as an upgrade to my hardtail, waited to see the Rose bikes range when they came out but they were too short. Didn't think the Whyte G150 wasn't good enough value compared to the Strive 6.0 (similar/lesser spec but £500 more).
Looked at the Canyon bikes, the Strive 6 and 7 linked below and was wondering if the upgrades between models is worth the price bump, but saw the top alloy Spectral is (supposed to be) ready for December in my size.
Thought of the YT bikes, but their 2014 models are again short and the 2015 ones aren't being announced until January.
Thinking I might have let my sights escalate a bit in looking at the Spectral as it's pricey compared to the Strives, but it is shiny and the 140mm travel might be better for most of the trails I ride. I also ride downhill courses a reasonable amount, the BFe I have handles it but worry the Spectral might get battered a bit (which leads to my next thing where I'm thinking about a separate DH bike).

Just wondered if anyone's got experience of last year's models or opinions on best value of the linked bikes. Or even if there's other bikes I could be looking at (being 6'3" with long back and long arms limits smaller frames). 🙂
