Some of you might recognise the location if you watch Poldark! Trenwyth house is actually in the Cotswolds!

Heres a bit of detail from the post(stem is same). If you want a good paint job this guy is amazing, happy to pass on his details! Likewise Ted is the real deal, rides hard and his workshop is proper, full of grease and ancient lathes, not like a art gallery.

I think the appropriate phrase is 'gert lush'.

If you can't outride Ted, do you have to give it back?

Lush, but sort the photos out! A bike like that deserves a proper shoot, or at the very least someone who can take a photo (no offence).

Also, the Reynolds sticker looks like it needs flattening down. Don't want to loose that...

Well jel tho.

Stem cap ain't straight.

Rear cable routing is an absolute mess.

Other than that, it's rather bloody lovely!!

Cable is tidy now, and might I add, shifts very sweetly. I didn't want full wrap under the bb. Cap, yes oversight. Shall be straightened immediately! The 853 sticker I have a couple...all other decals are painted on.

Definitely a 'trade' bike! At Bespoked it was great to have the builder, painter, Keith from Reynolds, Chris King, the guy from ENVE who had flown in for the show and the chaps from Saddleback all together. Don't worry it's going to get filthy!

I've looked at this a few times now and I have to ask, why didn't you go for internal cable routing?

Its crying out for it!

It looked lovely at Bespoked - I'm not surprised you're happy with it! Many happy returns 🙂

Time, Sat night it was a pile of tubes and steel billet, first coat on Sunday evening ...it was going to have a tapered HT and ribbed tubes (ted is one of very few who can do it). If it looks shabby after a season or two I might do it pre spray. At least there's no holes for crap to get into!

Apart from the skin wall tubs (I'd have black) that is bloody lovely.

Bespoked Phil must pay well 🙂

Looks great - all my pics from the show were of CX fork clearances and tiny bits of detail that most people probably don't notice (stay bridges, seat clamps etc).

Just starting a CX frame for my mrs (currently a box of tubes and some rough cut dropouts). Template for flowery seat tube sleeve drawn up at lunchtime. Love the clearance on the Enve fork but Columbus or Kinesis are a bit closer to our budget.....

I totally agree with the cable location - my favourite routing is now top-ish of down tube - nothing to snag on shorts or when lifting bike and well out of any muck.

Not at all to my taste, but a beautifully executed paint job. Your painter has an obvious talent.

That is lovely. There is something very 'right' about well executed custom steel frames.

Chapeau, I cannot think of a single thing I'd change about that paintjob.

Hope you've got a suitable pair of Frogskins to match?

Not keen on the stem or seatpost personally, but really like the rest! There's something about grey.

After dealing with internal cables recently, I say well done for going 'retro' and having them external.

I personally don't feel any envy for anything with Enve on it. Nice frame though.

The ENVE stuff is courtesy of Saddleback, I paid for the paint job. If you want to see more of the painters work check out @doktorbobby on Instagram, some amazing stuff.

Yes, better pics coming. Itching to get it dirty. I do like stock colours, but this was going on show and it's our race colours.

Our end of the Cotswolds is too dry!! He might be able to get some dust on it!!

Awful IMO. Colours are a grim mess. Full length outers held on with zip ties always screams cheap to me. Modern fat headtubes on skinny frames look all out of proportion. I don't get only one set of bottle bosses either, seems like a odd compromise. Me no like, nothing exciting about that bike at all.

As long as the OP likes it then crack on.

Colours are subjective, that's a given. One set of Bottle bosses, I know what I need, likewise no front mech option. Road bike has two. I'll hose clip the outers when I get some, this is a bike to get filthy. Baby Limus, let's see if they make a good all rounder! They were 'donated' for the build.

In day to day guise now with hplus son/clinchers and Shim drivetrain, 36t for hill climbing round here. Fits like a glove and rides very nicely.
