Looking at some new bars - ideally 780mm.

At the moment it's a toss up between the Exotic Carbon or Spank Vibrocore. 15-20mm rise. Anything else I should be looking at around this price or keener?

Spank vibrocores ftw. They just work. Not noticeably flexy, but I just don't fatigue as quickly.

I've had two years on vibrocore and was on carbon before that.
Would highly recommend the spanks but nothing empirical about it, just feeling.

I replaced carbon Renthals with Spank vibrocore and prefer the Spanks, as above nothing scientific just the feel and less ache in my dodgy elbows.

Got the older fat bar lite carbons at 740mm and cut down vibrocores. can't tell the difference TBH

Trouble with carbon really is that you don't know what you're going to get til you've got it. My Enves were too stiff for my taste frinstance. My renthals are just about alright, my cheap RSPs are about the same... But my crank bros ones on the fatbike are so bendy and lovely, perfect for that sort of thing.

And since some people want stiff and some don't and some can't tell but need to fill column inches it's all a bit of a fiasco

Vibrocore bars are great. Again no empirical evidence, just comfy.

I found Vibrocores helped when I was getting a lot of numb hands (not just cycling, but in general - though exacerbated by biking)

+1 for the Vibracores. Ran some Fatbar Carbon bars a while back and found them too stiff, These are doing it for me. A can of expanding foam might be a good cheap option, so long as you get it in there nice and even.

I had some vibros for a while and they were fine but a good carbon bar is superior, in my experience. Not a stiff bar like the Renthals or Hope though, but a compliant bar such as Syntace, One Up (not tried), Syncros or Nukeproof.

My favourites are Syntace Vector carbon. Not cheap but you'll not look elsewhere when you've got some. Latest Nukeproofs are a good mid-budget option.

Same as others, Carbon on my Capra to Vibrocore on my Commy. Less arm pump, and chatter. All anecdotal, obvs.
