Loos like RS are developing a new AXS dropper, to improve those auto eject battery moments and reduce the stack height...

Which reminds me, I need to send mine back as it has the few mm drop and the vent process isn't fixing it!

That's reduced stack height 🤣, how bad is the current one!

I think Jenny is a much nicer name than Reverb.

I've got them on two bikes and they're both doing the same thing. Both a long time out of warranty so hopefully they just need serviced.

Surely if she would like her lost reverb battery returning she needs to narrow it down to more than just a first name and county

The battery is vertical at the head of the seat post on the current version - it was one of the few criticisms of the current design & possibly one reason a 200mm drop hasn't been developed. By flipping the battery to horizontal, it looks to have reduced the stack by a third at the frame end.

The new battery position looks to be better for mud and water ingress and would allow seat bags and accessories which was a negative on the xplr iteration. If they've improved the push pin battery connectors then that would also be a big plus. It'll be interesting to see where Sram price it in comparison to the Fox unit.

My main gripe with layout of the current AXS Reverb is that the battery position makes it tricky to fit a seat-pack, but placing it horizontally on the lower section looks terrible imo.

I'm probably one of the few that thinks 170mm of drop is plenty!
