Will hopefully be getting some new wheels for my 29er soon, but to be honest i'm not really up on the market.
So what i'm after is a xc wheeset, light as possible for the budget which is £300 max, preferably less though, although i'll initally be running a qr fork it'd be nice to have an adaptable front axle.
I've seen the On-one set which seem pretty good, anything else worth considering? Thanks.
Stans Crest on Hope Pro 2s? (that'll be the standard response, and a good one).
Do you know of any where that'll come in on budget? I think Merlin works out at about £350.
I got some Pro 2's and Stans crest and found them quite flexi.
Still using them though.
On-one do an XC and an AM wheelset for £300.
Front's are adaptable between QR and 15/20mm
Dont understand their weights though, the XC seem heavier than the MAXs
No particular experience of them, but they might be good.
Hope hoops with pro 2 Evo hubs and crest rims. Hubs can change from qr to 15qr to 2o mm. Got mine for under 300 from Pedal on.
£280 at Cyclesports UK.
Thanks for the info.
